Look who it is!
I am alive. I am well. And I am finally ALONE.
My brother left today to go back to San Diego for an indefinite period of time. It is a bittersweet thing, but I haven't had my house to myself for a year and a half. I will miss him, he is my brother, but I am going to love having my space and privacy again. I am going to love that he is doing something to fix his issues and get moving on his life again. It's all good.
I haven't had continuous or easily accessible internet for some time now. I had to move my computer out into the kitchen in order to get reception from a neighbor's wifi. :D
I dislike having my computer out in the living/kitchen area, but I love having internet access even more. It's only temporary until I get to a point where I can once again afford to pay for internet service. Sigh...it will be so wonderful!
For the last several weeks, I have been focusing on fitness. Out of the last 23 days, I have worked out 18 of them. I have started Zumba. I have started using the gym membership have been paying for since April 2009. I have been using the SparkPeople workout DVD's.
I have become addicted to fitness! I have reduced the amount of food I have been eating. I have yet to lose any weight, whatsoever. In fact, I have gained 5 lbs. I'm blaming the extra weight on muscle, which in the long run, will burn the fat! WoOt! Meanwhile, I am gaining stamina and stuff. I feel wretched when I don't exercise/workout. I do have to force myself to put in at least 30 minutes on each weekend day. Those are the 5 days I haven't worked out over the last 23 days. :p Except for last night. A friend of mine walked 5 miles! Totally rad. We just gabbed and walked. For an hour and a half. :D 5 miles. :D SCORE.
A friend of mine and I are having a garage sale on Friday, so the next two days will be sent going through my garage, etc to find sellable stuffs. Plus, the garage really needs a makeover. It's out of control. Seriously. Looks like a hoarder's garage. And after seeing the show Hoarders, really has me embarrassed and inspired to take care of it. Seriously.
I'm still struggling financially, but I have decided not to sweat it. My ship will come. I have been reading some very inspiring books, lately. For instance, Harmonic Wealth by James Arthur Ray (also a contributor to The Secret). It is highly motivating and eye opening. And no, he doesn't say that you can become rich over night, but rather that you do have to get over yourself and work at it, but also, that you CAN find something that you love to do so it doesn't seem like work. The trick is to find something that brings you joy, as well as serving a purpose to the world, in some capacity. I think I just might beautify the world with Avon and some cute lil crafty things... or something. I dunno, it's a start! I do know that I want to earn a lot of money so that I can pay it forward. That is a definite.
Anywhoozle. I have a lot to catch up on now that I have continuous access to the internet --at least as long as my internet connection holds up! Lol.
Peace be with you & Be Blissful Always!
